You can't please everyone

There are times in life when you feel like you're watching Rome burn. Everything about you is in chaos, people appear lost and dismayed, and the ability to communicate with them breaks down. This observation isn't only relevant to corporeal conversations but also with speakers in other dimensions.

I have long lost the hesitancy I once held in declaring the voices of those I capture to be paranormal but of late, I'm questionning what that even means in 2026. As an undergraduate looking at quantum physics in the 80s, it completely mystified me. Back then, it was only theoretical physicists who gave serious consideration to matter in the universe dancing out of sight as frequencies we had no hope of sensing. Now governments allocate millions to adepts who travel ill-defined planes, that would have been seen as occult practices in the middle ages. Times have changed.

Sitting in the seance room, I was drawn to the past. I am not a melancholic and rarely look back without reason. However, when a scenario becomes problematic and previous practices are no longer relevant or working, change is required.

Slowly, over the last twenty years, my view of physical mediumship has morphed from being a purely spiritual practice, to a possibly subconscious, yet willful rearrangement of atoms. I remain transfixed in communicating with those who have passed from their physical state, but there is so much more to explore.

    Work begins anew.

Note: The voices are not class A, but were chosen due to being highly relevant to my conversation. Headphones will be required, and repeated listening. I appreciate that you may have an alternative understanding of their speech.

    Recorded on Olympus VN2100, XHQ

    Clip 1. You got me.

Clip 2. Housing and payment due. Love you. And you.

Clip 3. Not her tempo. Chant Bottega (?). Why would you need the light on?

Clip 4. Are you a psychic? I'm trying to reach you. The psychic wouldn't take.

Clip 5. They come through. You've recorded her. They know you. Without privacy. Charlie is around you. Do not allow that recording. Sooner they come on you.
