After 11 years of waiting, in October 2025 a brand new purpose built seance room was created. After the cottage, we tried to use exisiting rooms in the house and even converted a shed, but they weren't ideal. Now we don't have to worry about noise, the weather or infiltrating light; there is none. The conditions are perfect for the production of physical phenomena, and EVP.

Shortly after I began capturing clear voices in 2008, I recognised that technical advice was needed. I hoped if scientists were given the opportunity to experience anomalous vocal phenomena, they would engage with the group, assisting me in isolating their source. Multiple SPR guests did witness the recording of voices firsthand. Yet none would publicly acknowledge the results.

Age is a wonderful thing. Experience has taught me not to be concerned with the opinion of cynics, especially in the seance room. Now I greatly value the presence of a genuinely open minded enquirer, especially when they have an enquiring mind, which bodes well for enlightening communication.

We have the facilities to hold a sitting, and process the recording without leaving the room. It is possible to oversee the whole process from beginning to end, even analysis if desired. We need no convincing of the authenticity of the voices as being paranormal, but understand those new to sitting may like to experience the protocol in full.

To sit in a seance, there is no requirement to believe in the afterlife, in honesty, those we communicate with have not been qualified as being dead. Whilst we have defined the best conditions to facilitate the generation of physical phenomena, we have no exact knowledge of how it is generated. There are so many open questions and the constant uncertainty of what might take place, adds an element of fun.
