Over five years our group was fortunate to make an annual pilgrimage to Hampton Court Palace. Our home for the first year was apartment 43a Fish Court, but in this video, I share with you our second home, The Georgian House, an imposing building outside of the Tudor walls of the palace, in Tennis Court Lane.
Having collected the keys, and arrived at the front door, there’s always a mix of emotions, delight at returning to Henry and Wolsey’s stomping ground and nervous anticipation of experiences that may lay ahead. Before the group descended, and our fun could begin, there was much to be done. Firstly, the séance room needed to be set up in the study, then an equipment test, and a brief review to make sure everything was working.
After dinner each evening, we would parade the Tudor palace cloisters and courts, laughing and recording as we went. Returning home to the Georgian House by 9pm, we would gather in the drawing room, before the evening séance. We came to expect great things here and were never disappointed. Some of our clearest recordings of EVP, were captured in the study.
