Welcome to Llantysillio hall in Denbighshire, a Gothic Revival masterpiece designed by architect Samuel Pountney Smith.

I try my best to make my videos as historically accurate as possible, but for this one, I admit, the timelines of events and births have been rather distorted to tell the story of the house.

An episode can take anywhere from a month to two months to make, but this took considerably longer. Whilst walking in the forest I was unexpected joined by a lady from the house. Rose’s life story unfolded as we walked the paths together. Was she real? I don’t know, and to me it didn’t matter. Her life was typical of many girls in service, and I wanted to share it with you.

Llantysillio Hall deserved so much more than presenting a clinical history of its owners and voice clips from an investigation. If you visit, you’ll discover for yourself, the feeling of the hall being a loved home, past and present.
