Halloween 2024

It's been a long year, and it made me so happy to put up the decorations outside for Trick or Treating for my favorite day. Cars have been slowing down to take a look all day, it's going to be a busy evening!

Before the festivities begin, it's time to do a recording and to thank all of our friends for their company and communications over the last year. Halloween to me is a time to reconnect with those who have passed over. You don't need to be able to hear their voice to know they are near. Send them your love and ask them to draw near. As the winter darkness closes in, it's easier for them to break through the veil.

Sitting in red light, I put my recorder down on the desk, cast my eyes downwards and allowed my mind to still. To my left, I could feel the gentle fizzing energy of our friends coming in. It's such a distinctive sensation, when you've grown used to it through regular practice, there's no ambiguity in what's happening.

The voices I recorded are far from clear, although there were many, only a few are presentable with cleaning. As is common with other recent recordings, environmental background interference is having an effect on my ability to record strong voices. Most were class C and interpretations are tenuous at best. I hope you're able to hear the voices in the clips provided, but it won't surprise me to learn that you have an alternative meaning.
